(Robert Downey Jr.) Peter’s wife (Michelle Monaghan) Sarah is pregnant and is due in a week, so he set back home to be there when the baby is born. At the airport he comes across (Zach Galifianakis) Ethan who is a total nuisances to him, this guy acts all friendly towards him and he is not interested, on the plane while they were chatting Ethan mentions the word terrorist, which gets them in to trouble and kicked off the plane.
Both of their names are put on the no fly list because they were suspected to be a risk, Robert’s wallet with his ID are on the plane, so the only option he has is to travel with Ethan who got him kicked off the plane and if he wants to make it for the arrival of his baby. And the fun begins the road trip to LA is no walk in the park if you have to the travel with a person you dislike for days.
This movie is worth the laugh, you will crack up through the whole journey and (Jamie Foxx) Darryl also makes an appearance as Peter’s friend who helps them out through the journey.
