Try having your siblings and parents cut with a slash
a gash open scars that never heal
Homes burnt
No going back

Using chlorine filled swimming pool water
To drink
The so called leaders who promise freedom
What they don’t have

The lack of wisdom
Running to neighboring countries
Being chased with rifles
Blood spills open bloody wounds

Money becomes useless
Well money is invaluable
We just attached value to it
The spoons that feed

Lie down like the breed
A million dead bodies left behind
Yet you complain because of
Hatred Jealousy and Confusion

Are you color blind?
The same African blood
Runs through that black brother
who doesn’t deserve to be discriminated

Because of Hatred Jealousy and Confusion
