It became a blue Monday indeed when I heard the news on the radio that the acting married couple Bonnie and Sisanda Henna are divorcing. It is alleged that this comes as a result of financial difficulties that the couple have been having. Sisanda was fired from his role as a presenter on “All you need is love” a few weeks ago while Bonnie hasn’t been on the screen in ages. On Twitter people have been asking her if the news is true and Redi Thlabi has been supporting her saying it is rude and insensitive to be asking people such.

Bonnie tweeted “☹..don’t ask”  in response to one tweet asking her if she’s going to quit acting because it’s brought her such unnecessary drama she said “#justfortherecord I never wanted to be famous, I just wanted to act.” Follow her on @BonnieHenna to read more. Apparently she’s releasing a tell-all book in September. I would love to read that but celebs always say something about writing books which never materialise. Oh well we’ll have to wait and see.

Mshoza pregnant

Mshoza Mnisi is preggers. This comes as a shock to me because the last I heard,  Mnisi had moved out and had moved in with his side-piece. These two just have dramarama. Jacob Mnisi said he didn’t know anything about the child. Uhmm so can we conclude that Mshoza (who said she’s keeping her private life private) is not carrying her husband’s child? This is another case of having to wait-and-see. I must say though she looked twice her age in the pic they had of her in the paper. Since when does she were glasses? No girl, that look doesn’t do you any justice. Plus she’s packed on a few kilo’s which is of course can be expected of a pregnant lady. On that note the best of luck. It’s never nice to see people in trouble.

gareth-cliff

So Sunday World printed an apology to Gareth Cliff. This comes after their front page headline “Gareth’s Black Babe” which featured (among other things) a mysterious woman called Miemie Seleka who was pregnant with Cliff’s baby. The story also alleged the two are live-in-lovers. After the article was published Cliff complained to the SA Press Ombudsman and the Public Editor that “the article is manifestly untrue, inaccurate and scurrilous”. This was his statement in the paper:
“I can confirm that I do not know the woman mentioned in the article (I am not in a relationship with her, I do not live with her and I have not impregnated her), nor have I been approached for comment by the journalist in question, and that every single paragraph appears to have been fabricated to create sensation.”Even the supposed quote taken from my radio show on Friday is completely made up,” said Cliff in his complaint submitted to Press Ombusdman Joe Thloloe.

Apparently thereafter Sunday World did an investigation who “indeed found that the story was untrue” that the named sources lied. But isn’t that what you do before the story is published, SMH. It would have been kind of cool though if such an influential person was in a biracial relationship. Oh well.I know it’s kind of late but I just wanted to say congratulations to these soccer stars for tying the knot. Firstly Kaizer Motaung Jnr who exchanged vows with his long time sweetheart Kathrine Heider (in Munich, Germany ) who is also the mother of his son Tyler Rhys Motaung. Congratulations are also due to Bernard Parker who wed Wendy Cherry in a lavish ceremony in Ballito on June 16 in front of 170 guests.
